The good news is that the Maldives offers a free 30-day visa on arrival for all nationalities, provided you have a valid passport (with at least six months validity), a confirmed hotel booking, and a return ticket. No prior visa application is needed for tourism. Simply arrive at Velana International Airport in Malé, pass through immigration, and collect your luggage.
